One of the most frustrating words in the human language, as far as I could tell, was love. So much meaning attached to this one little word. People bandied it about freely, using it todescribe their attachments to possessions, pets, vacation destinations, and favorite foods. The way we use language to describe ourselves and others is incredibly important. However, we use words like love and hate too often and too superficially. We say we love someone, but if they do something that we don’t like, we find a way to make it seem as if they love us less.
